it's been a long time since my last post, the reason of this late update simply because for the past weeks there is nothing extraordinary aside from the fact that I had experienced my first snow in my life. this is the heaviest snow UK had for past few years and I spent my Christmas in a 'village' called Hatfield. additionally, working part time as kitchen assistant in London Colney really tired me out and I feels a bit 'not right' since I have to start from the lowest pay and most unstable job... trust me, it is really hard to find part time for student these days.
that's all, ta ta

it is a peaceful week
a week that i can calm myself down and settle a lot of stuff which i've been putting it aside
most of them are daily chores actually, like washing clothes, clean my room, etc.
as a result, i'm started to get more n more attached to my little room
sometimes, i really got the feeling that i jus wan to lay on the bed the whole day n wait for the day to pass
yea, what a nerdy tought...
last tuesday, i attended the third time for the hip hop class
and i am still a dancing duck
and i know it by heart
i'm bad at dancing but i know that i can get better if i jus practice more
maybe not to the level that ppl will say that i'm good at it
but definitely to the level that i know i've improved
i will continue to attend the class
and i attend it for myself
not others...
full of crap this time
maybe i'm really got nothing else to say
haha...

Lost Generation by Jonathan Reed
I realize this maybe a shock but
"Happiness comes from within"
is a lie, and
''Money will make me happy"
So in 30 years i wil tell my children
They are not the most important thing in my life
My employer will know that
I have my priorities straight because
Work
Is more important than
Family
I tell you this
Once upon a time
Family stayed together
But this will not be true in my era
this is a quick fix society
Experts tell me
30 years from now i will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of my divorce
I do not concede that
I will live in a country of my own making
In the future
Environmental destruction will the norm
No longer can it be said that
My peer and I care about this earth
It will be evident that
My generation is apathetic and lethargic
It is foolish to presume that
There is hope.
And all of this will come true unless we choose to reverse it. (read it backward...)
in the end of the phrase it will read as 'I realize this maybe a shock but I can change the world and I refuse to believe that I'm part of the lost generation'
brilliant isn't it?

well here it is, the official day where i existed on this earth for 21 years
nothing special really, but i like it this way. go for a class, eat a nice breakfast, had a long nap, enjoying the cold, watching the people walking in the rain... tranquility or serenity i would say^_^
thank you guys and gals for everything, i know u guys want to do something but for me doing nothing than rest well is better than anything for me. i want my friends to have a day where he or she can have a relaxing day, i want my friends to have a day where he or she can put their mind into rest... yes, jus hav a lazy day, consider a gift from me.
hav a bit of problem with my banking stuff, but, no worry i believe it can be solved. it just money anyway....
it is really been awhile... since i work, 2 or 3 months i guess, started to feel a bit insecure when staying idle for so long. anyway, got some small weird temporary jobs, trying something new, it will be a whole new experience for me.
i like Marina Hamilton class 'cause she teaches like miss Puvanes.
i don't like Bill Davies since he pause so many times and made lame jokes (i mean it!)
i like Ian Barnett 'cause he teach things in a simple manner but sometimes i don't get what he saying
i don't know about Eira Ruben since i haven't attend any of his/her class yet.
ps: Salomon v Salomon is really long and dry, i've fell asleep half way reading it...
can we really start to do questions on our first seminar since we oni covered introduction on lecture?
that's it for today, ta ta

it's been a great week!! ^_^
i went many places and party a lot. meet new friends, celebrate friend's birthday, etc..
last saturday, it is the day where i first met all my roommates and also the day where i visited St Albans. most of my roommates are local british and they are friendly. each of them is unique but not eccentric which i'm really glad, it is possibly the best roommates u can hav. perhaps the oni bad thing i can say about them is they really like to party and drink... haha, i guess it is just their culture.
st albans cathedral, it is a great place. when u walk in the cathedral, u can really feel the serenity or perhaps i should use the word 'holiness' of the place. i would love to visit more cathedral again.
then, i went london on sunday which i dun really like the place. maybe it is because of the crowd there, too many ppl and the air dun really smell good or maybe the weather, the sun was really bright that day. anyway, i still had a great time there, took some pics went covent garden market to see street performance, etc. it is really tiring because it involved a lot of walking, in the end, all of us just rest in The Green Park, yeap we didn't go to the Hyde Park because we jus too lazy to walk anymore. this is one of those pics i took on that day, more on my facebook...
lovely, isn't it?

i supposed i should update myself a bit by now...
i guess i should start everything with my landing at heathrow last saturday. i landed on UK around 4pm, but when i got out from there and hopped up to the coach from the uni is already 730pm. yeah, wondering what i'm doing in the airport for so long? i've to thank the immigration and baggage reclaim, we all hav to queue for the immigration check for two hours and because we were late to collect our baggages so the airport ppl took out all our checked luggage to another side and jus with small standing sign that u can hardly see it from far plus the place is full with ppl. God bless them, they really know how to do their job...
in the end, we all ended up in our uni finally with empty stomach and tired eyes and body, I had no other choice but to eat my instant noodle because all the shops is closed down already. after the supper, I still had to unpack my luggage. so far, the impression that this country gave me isn't good at all.
despite everything we had gone through, things started to settled down. i've started to appreciate the nice and cool weather here, though the ppl here said i will start to hate the cold when winter comes.
i've met a lot of ppl, all kind of ppl, from black to white, from east to west, north and south. listening to all kind of language that i've never heard of, luckily, they all speak english^_^
still learning how to get a good meal with limited resources and money i have, still wondering how to wash my clothes in a most economic and efficient way, still confusing which bus go to where, still receiving surprises everyday. God, i miss malaysia food!!
ah... hungry again, update again later.

at last i've climbed a mountain in malaysia, though is a small one nevertheless is still exciting. yesterday my bunch of college friends and i decided to go Bukit Tabur, at first, i thought it going to be easy, but no, i almost out of breath at the starting point. later when we reached higher place, i started to get used to the place and the rest for me is ok. very tiring but very rewarding at the same time, the scene is great when u reached the top, i would definitely do it again if i ever got the chance.
it might dirty that end of the day ur shoes will be covered in mud and there is a lot mosquitoes out there that keep harrassing you (is only the starting point). but think on the bright side, it is one of those activities that is very economy(u dun hav to pay any entrance fees or whatsoever), it trains ur stamina and also stress ur legs to the max, plus it is very challenging. ^_^ hiking is awesome!!
the composition is a bit off but u get the scenery and the ppls
later that day, we also watched 'The Ugly Truth'. it is nice movie talking about love, relationship and sex. it humours me a lot and my coll friends too, and somehow, we felt like we was meant to watch that movie that day since our friend got some issues on this matter. i hope u know what to to do edi, R****.

again i had a nice weekend...
i watched the play of Joseph at Randy's church, Beth Cooper (lame but funny), Harold & Kumar both white castle and escape from guantanamo bay, south park season 9 and 10, confession of a shopaholic, final destination 4, etc... ok, i know is a bit insane but this is what you become when you have been idle too long
for another 12 days left for me to enjoy as much as possible in malaysia, i still got three things to prepare for my departure. first is the medical checkup, i don't really feel like want to do it because it just random check, i might take my chance. secondly, monetary matter where and when should i convert some cash for pound sterling and how much, hmm, 1000 perhaps? thirdly, pack my luggage, well i already made a list on what i should put in checked luggage and hand luggage, just follow it and i won't miss out anything, you should do the same thing too if you haven't.
seriously, this coming 12 days will be the those days that i spent the most in this year. anyway, who cares? i'm happy and i won't regret. it is only considered you had a life if you have live it (that's what the gay friend said in Beth Cooper haha^_^)

i dun like taking pictures after drinking alcohol because it only make myself looks ugly... dun u agree?
i do realize that today is already 1st of September, another 19 days i will leave this place for at least one or two years.
working is very tiring... i understand that very well as i've already been working part time for two and a half year since i graduated from high school. but look at the bright side, you always got money to spend ^_^
i do not know what awaits me in the future, still, i will give it all my best!
am i going to become a lawyer? i'm 90% yes and 10% no, i can't see what's in front but i know anyhow i will end up in the place i wanted to be.

yes, we celebrated EJ and Kelly birthday on last tuesday... we all had a good night. At first, we were just planning to have a simple dinner at Murni in PJ until I realised on last Saturday (i think?) from facebook that this week wednesday is EJ birthday and Thurs is Kelly one. Then, we had a change of plan, instead of eating mamak in PJ and have to wait for table dunno how long it takes, we decided to go The Curve, Italiannies. After the dinner, we went Laundry Bar (jus beside Italiannies) for a drink and of course continue to talk and laugh till midnight.
out of the pictures i took during the night, this one i like the most, is so funny^_^
The next day, EJ invited us to Finnegan Bar at Mid Valley, a bit sad this time the people are lesser because some of them FFK. Anyway, we still enjoyed ourselves...
congraz EJ u got an Iphone^_^ and this is first time i see "flame tower" also Awesome!!
well, tmr is the very important day to all my fellows who took UOL exam. As you would have guess, the result is out tmr. Dun worry guys and gals, i've great faith in you all...
update on same day 7pm: OMG!! the result actually came out just now, well, congraz everyone^_^

frankly speaking, i got nothing to post this week because basically i just sit at home 24/7. since last last week saturday, i've been coughing till now. i went and see the doctor but the doctor said it just normal cough, nothing serious. i'm getting better now but still have some light cough, haiz, due to this i can't eat whatever i want and my life again become 'duller'. so what i can do everyday is just reading my 'Angels and Demons' or surfing the net taking care of my barn buddy and restaurant city, nothing else. that's the downside when u have three month holiday.
another 30 days, i'll leave this place. can't feel anything right now, no excitement, sadness or anything, maybe i've been waiting too long?

our good friend timothy wants to eat kajang satay before his nose operation this thursday. so to fullfill his wish we all drove all the way down to kajang yesterday to find satay for him. we end up in a kampung called Rinching Ulu-ulu first before we found our stay kajang. how come we ended up there? it is a very long story, let just say GPS sometimes are not very accurate. anyhow, we were still able to find our kajang satay in a place called 'Haji Samuri' and the satay kuah there is really good...
believe it or not, they had opened a branch in klang, though i've never try there before
lately, a lot of people contracted flu, whether is swine flu or normal flu, we all need to be careful these days.

i will officially ends my job as a sales promoter for hitachi next sunday...
i should be happy because i've been working this job for almost two year... longest job i've ever worked so far...
however, something else is troubling me also... what am i supposed to do afterward
i literally got no plan until my departure date... haiz sad =(
jus read jolene's latest post on her blog, maybe i should get a month attachment in law firm like all my other friends
i can start on 17th august until 17th of sep...
well then at least i got something to do and learn... it is much better sitting here everyday staring at my laptop doing nothing...
if that's the case, where am i supposed to find such one month attachment? got any idea?

my visa is out and i'm going to collect it this friday.^_^
well, what can i say this whole week has been quite busy running errands for my mom and my sister. i guess this is all i can do before i leave this place...
i got a friend jus came back from UK last tuesday, he told that it is quite hard to find jobs in UK these days, even if you manage to get one, the pay would not good looking also. haiz, bad news for me, i was planning to do some freelance there so i will have extra money to travel around, now it seems is a bit hard to do so.
and then, another not-so-good news, i jus did a research on internet and realized that the accomodation i chose is not as good as i think, see for yourself
according to the student there, they describe it as trampy as cell prison...
hopefully not ;( and i'm definitely going to miss my room here in malaysia

bye bye

lately i got myself a few cool stuff...
the first one of course is my little red camera as i mentioned before in my older entries.
the second cool stuff is somehow related to my camera, well in fact the reason why i bought it in the first place is because of my camera... well, guess wat...
waterproof camera case by Dicapac... is cool you know, its water resistant can go down till 50m deep and yet it oni cost me rm98 (include delivery), without having to spend money on those expensive rm600++ original waterproof case plus bulky...
the third gadget... well this kind of product has ald been on the market for a while, it can bluetooth connect to your cell phones and yet u can receive call and listen to music at the same time... ya i guess u can guess it ald, it is a stereo bluetooth headset, but, the best thing about my stereo bluetooth headset is that u can always change the earphone without the need to stick back to the original one, cool huh??
well i guess spent too much money ald this month, haha, now my bank got less than three digits... haha ;$

erm... this whole week, i've been spending most of the time in transport... start from monday, i fetched my mother to see her client the whole day, then during midnight my little cute sis forgot to switch off the car's headlamp in Subang, i almost went down there to help her out, fortunately, she managed to start the car with the help from her friends without really having me to drive to Subang...
On tuesday morning, again drive my sis to Bangi for interview, lost our way while in Bangi, then the battery ran dead again at petrol station (luckily is at petrol station, so we managed to replace with new one). during the afternoon, again being 'requested' to visit banks with my father to settle his stuff.
alright, wednesday. got two fella promised me to eat Bak Kut Teh in the morning but they put me aeroplane. or maybe i should be glad that they still remember that we're watching ice age 3 at 11am. anyhow, the movie was great ^_^ after that, i got nothing to do but follow my friend to fix the powerwindow fo his car. seriously, next time i can fix my own power window.
thursday, well it is as wat you ald know from the last post.
friday, had to fetch my sis to her apartment in subang, then had to go to college to settle some uni application stuff. arrgh, no time to do take my passport photo, my accomodation application had to hold on until the photos is given. during night time, spent another six hour at poh yuan house doing barbeque.
i know, i know i'm a bit long winded but i really dun expect this week to be so hectic. guess wat? next week it going to start all over again... haiz, need a lot of ayam pati, ginseng, tongkat ali ;&

jus applied the MAS Grads enrich card this morning with pearly, danielle, sarahjane and kelly... great, now i can enjoy free extra 10 kgs luggage allowance!! too bad i can't join them for the lunch, but anyway, i can still join them next time when we want to apply the international student card...
when i reached home today, i'm surprised that my new camera finally arrived!! ^_^ so happy
here it is... my new Canon IXY 210IS, well, actually it is the same model as our Canon Ixus 100IS in Malaysia, this one is japan model, which means AP, not ori, but anyway, i dun really mind since it is much cheaper... in conclusion, i love it...

wondering on which accomodation to choose and also my last optional subject for third year... so far, after i checked the campus map the hostel which nearest to the bus station is Telford Court but it will cost me 90 pounds per week, the cheaper accomodation would be either Broad Hall or Coales Hall as it just next to Telford Court and it only cost 83 pounds per week, hmm... seem like a good choice since it is a single room and also has a washbasin in each of the room. well then, just make Broad Hall and Coales Hall as my first and second choice for accomodation lo^_^
as for the third year optional subjects, EU law is compulsory, the another two i had chose Employment Law and Human Rights and Civil Liberties. for the last subject, i'm struggling between doing a dessertation on Family Law or Cyber Law... erm, or as long as the subject is easy to pass, hehe.
official transcript is only coming out next week, i have to wait until then to continue with all the application stuff. meanwhile, rest well and eat well to make sure that i'm in the best condition to go for the medical checkup as required by the visa application (jus try to avoid any petty problem).
last wednesday, i went to a place in The Curve called Winter Warmer. a very nice place to chill out and they have very nice tea. some of my college friends can't help themselves and took some pictures there...
they are scouting around for the best background... very nice place right?? ^_^

it is so tired after four days of working under the sun without air-cons. if u ask me to do that again, i'll think twice even the sales are good.
went to jun yan's birthday party last friday, it is a very fun party. can you believe it? this is the first time i went to his house after knowing him and his family for so many years (almost ten years), and i dun even know his house address... haiz, knowing someone so long yet so little, it is a weird friendship. but anyway, he is one of the best friends you can have in your whole life. at that party, i met so many good ppl which i've never met before, it is not common for you to go for a party where you know only the host but not anyone else and yet you enjoyed the night. thanks guys and gals ^_^
is already 8th june today, can't help myself but excited about how's my exam result is, really hope that tomorrow i will receive a sms from college telling me good news.
well, remember last time i mentioned about climbing mountain? i did some search over the internet and found a agent offering rm750 for 3d2n mount kinabalu trip (excluding flight ticket and it cost around rm200++ from airasia). i think it is not a bad deal, how about we make it around july or august, can?? leave a comment ya if you're interested..

yesterday all of us were celebrating the end of UOL exam (well, not quite related to me since my exam ended weeks ago) and also Jolene, Ee Mun and Alex birthday all together... and then, got this 'brotherhood' (when they started to form this group i dunno also) crazily went Genting for one or two hour before they went for the dinner but they forget to ask me to join them, haiz so kesian being neglected. by the way, all of us had a great time though everyone look tired because they jus finished their exam and they didn't sleep the day before the last paper, still, they looked 'happily tired'.
this morning woke up with a bit dizziness in my head maybe because of the cocktails yesterday... but i jus drank two glasses only, well i guess my alchohol capacity decreased already lo xD
one bad news, pound sterling had gone up to 5.76 this morning, it happens because of malaysia economy is dropping these days, haiz, maybe i should do something about it? huh? but there are people saying that is better to wait because it still fluctuate too much. very confusing
what do you say?

i'm very lazy to go anywhere these days because of the hot weather, it is kiling me. perhaps it is a good time to go some beaches or climb some mountain since it can chill you up. there are several places i have not visited before as a malaysian, example like pulau redang or mount kinabalu or even sabah and sarawak. hope that i can find some friends and go together, that will be fun.
if you are thinking the same thing pls let me know, maybe we can organise something then ask everyone to join us, not bad huh? anyway, please drink a lot of water and take good care of yourself, ok? because if you're sick then we will not be able to come out and play.
ok, later.

it is a problem so it must be solved
i'm surprise that when i know my mark for my assignment i can still remain in such a calm mood...
lucky i'm still in a calm mood so that it will not ruin my viva this saturday...
viva is more important right now therefore i shall focus my mind on it rather than thinking of so many why...
...i'm ok, really...

it is true you know...
"you're born to be a winner.
that's why you plan to win,
you prepare to win
and you expect to win."
i came across this quotation when i worked today or yesterday. i believe it is the by-product from the concept of 'law of attraction' mentioned in the book --The Secret.
what you'll do if you know you're a winner? the normal reaction would be just sitting there and wait until you being declared as the winner. but then, later you will realise that if you have 'win' like that then you will feel you had won nothing at all. yes, you'll win 'nothing at all' if you just sit there and wait.
therefore, the proper reaction would be doing what is said as above. you plan, you prepare and you expect to win like a winner.
well, to all of us who are sitting for the coming exam and i here by telling you:
"You are a winner!!"

grown up...
it is strange you know
when you found out that the world is no longer the world you recognised
when you wake up and realise everything has changed
you don't watch cartoon
you don't eat sweet and candy
kfc or McD is no longer your favourite food
you don't play hide and seek
everything you used to do
when you found out that the world is no longer the world you recognised
when you wake up and realise everything has changed
you don't watch cartoon
you don't eat sweet and candy
kfc or McD is no longer your favourite food
you don't play hide and seek
everything you used to do
you just don't do it anymore...
you want something more
something like Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren
or perhaps Bentley or Maseratti
you want to look like Brad Pitt
she wants to look like Jessica Alba
yes, we learn the true nature of being materialistic
Reality has taught you that if you live up what others expect of you
you will be loved
Experience told you that do not give money to beggar because they might use your money to call for a cab to go home
Instinct makes you believe that if you don't push yourself through the crowd and get in the train you will still need to do it when the next train comes
I understand, we're just fitting ourselves within the definition of 'adult'
...in the end you will look like an adult...
...but you don't look like yourself...
...in the end you will look like an adult...
...but you don't look like yourself...

this afternoon the tort lecture was a bit boring... so i decided to do some stupid thing...
well i'm not the one wearing the girlie girlie stuff, guess who is he then? maybe is a she...
anyway, it seem my choice for university is quite obvious already, hertfordshire fees is cheap and so is the living expenses...
i guess tomorrow i'll go to the office and get the application form since today i got no luck of finding the officer (maybe he was avoiding student?!!? who knows...)
sincerely hope that everything will be smooth this year... ^_^

A twisted logic
it is so unfair when it is others people fault and you have to bear the consequence...
they themselves don't know how to take care of themselves and warnings have been given many times and yet you still have to help them... why?
shouldn't they just clean up their own mess?
